Last night I made our first family dinner without Mom. To be all together was special, it has been a while since we have all been in town at one time. Despite my efforts the roast dinner did not taste the same as Mom's...( of course not, what was I thinking?) The lake was beautiful...the fire toasty, Johnny Cash on the iphone,the dogs by our side and memories...
my parents are coming this weekend and i'm making dinner. ha....we'll see if it's edible:)
